The next generation Netgear Nighthawk WiFi routers are designed specifically for high performance and speed with the mantra “Leading the New Era of WiFi 6”. The goal of this project was to evolve Nighthawk’s existing industrial design language with a design that pushes the boundaries of what is possible.

We honed in on evoking high performance and introduced dynamic forms and crisp lines. We created an armor architecture with exposed vents blending function and aesthetics for optimizing airflow and performance. Our biggest feat was pushing the engineers to consolidate the antennas into two wings where they remain upright in their optimal position. The result is a device that is the epitome of its name and an iconic design language.
